There seemed no end to the narrow path, yet the humming noise grew slightly louder by the minute. Maybe it was the dark room playing tricks on them, an acoustic phenomenon of some sort? There was no way of knowing, it was still too dark. Nevertheless, slow and steady wins the race. After an eternity of strolling down the bridge-like structure, Linus and Linnéa finally reached a platform. Not just any platform, a platform which presented alternatives! hurrah! Several doors were to be found, although all but one blocked by large boulders. "How unnecessary" Linus said with disappointment in his voice. "Stop moping", Linnéa countered, "there's one doorway which isn't blocked, that's all we need. Plus, that humming sound is driving both of us crazy, we better found the source soon!" There just had to be something worthwhile down there...
Hey again, how are you all? I see you've met the Hum-fish!
A lonely little structure rose from the sand, like an island in the middle of the ocean. Naturally, our heroes had to investigate! Upon closer inspection, the structure even had a doorway which seemed to lead downwards. Linus' and Linnéa's spirits were high once more as they knew the chances of discovering something extraordinary were significantly higher in what seemed to be an ancient building. "I wonder who built this" Linnéa curiously mumbled while hastily scanning the walls for signs of text or markings. "More importantly, are they still home" Linus added and poked his head in the doorway, such as expecting to interrupt someone in the middle of preparing a complicated dinner. No someone, no dinner, not even a floor as it would seem; only a humongous room with a rather narrow bridge-like structure leading... somewhere. It was quite dark, and the light-amplifiers could only do so much. To make the situation even more gloomy, not a sound could be discerned at first, except for a hardly noticeable humming. The answer was definitely further into the structure.
